Basic Income: A Psychological Impact Assessment – Launch and Discussion

3rd May 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Universal Basic Income (UBI), or Citizens Income, is an old idea which has gained considerable attention over recent years. It proposes that all citizens of a country receive a regular, unconditional income throughout their lifetime. In a recent briefing paper, by Psychologists for Social Change: ‘Basic Income: A Psychological Impact Assessment’ we examine the potentials and risks of a UBI from a psychological point of view. This event is a chance to hear more about the briefing paper and participate in discussion.
