The Radical Education Forum (RadEd) is a group of people working in a wide range of educational settings who meet monthly to discuss radical pedagogical theories and techniques, and contemporary issues affecting those involved in education. We are interested in how these theories and questions can inform our practice. The Forum supports social justice in education, linking practitioners within mainstream educational institutions, community education initiatives, social movements, arts organisations and self-organised groups.
We published a Radical Eduction Workbook, available as pdf from the website.
RadEd meets twice a month at the Common House:
- RadEd reading session (last Monday of the month).
- RadEd film club (usually on the second Wednesday of the month, check the calender).
Email us to be put on the mailing list or to suggest readings or films.
