United Voices of the world (UVW) is a grassroots, independent and completely volunteer-run trade union. We were established by, and are almost entirely comprised of migrant workers in London’s service sector where wages are low and levels of abuse are high. The majority of our members are of Latin American decent though we have a growing number of British, African and Eastern Europeans joining too. We have a dedicated team of representatives who have extensive experience in all manner of employment law issues. We also work closely with the ethical and tenacious law firm Truth Legal who are specialists in accident, assault and employment issues. UVW strongly believes that while the law may be ludicrously skewed in the employer’s favour it’s still always worth fighting to the bitter end, both in court and on the streets!

Voces Unidas del Mundo (United Voices of the World - UVW) es un sindicato de base, independiente y gestionado totalmente por voluntari@s. El sindicato surge y está integrado casi en su totalidad por trabajador@s migrantes del sector servicios de Londres, quienes se ven expuestos a bajos salarios y altos niveles de abuso. La mayoría de nuestr@s miembr@s son Latinoamericanos, aunque cada vez se están integrando más británic@s, african@s y trabajador@s de Europa del Este. Contamos con un dedicado equipo de representantes que tienen mucha experiencia en asuntos vinculados a las leyes laborales. También trabajamos en estrecha colaboración con el ético y tenaz bufete de abogados “Truth Legal”, especialista en agresiones y accidentes laborales además de otras materias laborales. Voces Unidas del Mundo cree firmemente que, si bien la ley puede ser sesgada absurdamente a favor del empleador, sigue valiendo la pena luchar hasta las últimas consecuencias, ¡tanto en los tribunales como en las calles!
