Who Cares? A Valentine’s Day special hosted by Plan C London
You’re cordially invited to join plan c and friends for an evening of dialogue, debate and speed anti-dating to discuss the issues and problems with caring and also the work of care.
The evening begins with sharing some food and hearing some tales of caring labour from midwives, sex workers, support workers, parents and childcare workers. Then a session of ‘speed anti-dating’ in non-couple forms to collectively answer the question of who cares? Next up will be a presentation on some of the thorny intellectual aspects of care in and against capitalism. Followed by an after-party!
what to bring: some food to share while we talk, two answers to the question: who cares?, a healthy critique of commodified romance and your dancing shoes.
